My First Ipod experience---GREAT!
This is my very first IPod and I LOVE the Ipod touch 3rd Generation!! I am so glad I went with the 32GB vs. the 8GB too. I am a bit technologically naive, but this was easy to learn how to use and now I am hooked. As I was reading the reviews with the 1 star, I was a bit dumbfounded. I think the IPOD touch is amazing! It just all depends on what you are looking for and what fits you. My only complaint is that the battery seems to drain out quickly but being on the internet a lot with it will do that. When I am only playing music, it seems to last a long time. I was going to get an Iphone but I have such a great plan with my current cell phone company and didn't want to give that up. Plus, I seem to abuse cell phones a lot by dropping them, scratching them, etc. and I didn't want to risk damaging an Iphone. I know people like having the internet connection everywhere you go, but I just didn't feel I really needed that. Nothing against the Iphone. I know people love them. It just wasn't for me personally. I am extremely happy with my purchase!! I think you will be too!
